The best way to reach us is to call the number on the back of your Blue Cross member ID card. That will put you in touch with a service representative trained to help you with your plan. But there are other key contacts for specific needs. Here are some of the most important ones:

YOUR BLUE CROSS AGENT

If you have a Blue Cross agent who assisted you with your enrollment, he or she can help when you have questions. Your agent can:

  • Explain coverage and benefits
  • Handle billing questions
  • Help get claim questions answered
  • Help you review your plan benefits and options at renewal time

MINNESOTA HEALTH CARE PROGRAMS

Adults who meet certain requirements might qualify for Minnesota Health Care Programs, which include Medical Assistance (MA), MinnesotaCare, Minnesota Family Planning Program and others. KEEPING OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS DOWN

There are times when health care costs should be covered by another party. For example, with an injury because of a car accident, auto insurance will usually cover most, if not all, of your associated health care costs. Blue Cross will work to make sure the responsible party pays, which can keep your out-of-pocket costs down.

If you’re involved in any kind of accident that results in you needing medical care, let us know as soon as possible by calling 1-866-251-6691 (TTY), Monday through Friday, 9 a.m to 4:30 p.m. Central Time. We’ll help make sure the right party takes responsibility for the cost of your care.
